The Dominicans and Vatican II A Day of Reflection to conclude the Year of Faith

Are you in the San Antonio area?  Do you want to learn more about the Dominicans and their important role in Vatican II?  Come hear how the Second Vatican Council endorsed and developed Yves Congar’s vision of a church where all the baptized are called to be apostles, where the lives of all the faithful bear witness to the kingdom of God, and where, through them, the light of the gospel is meant to illuminate every aspect of social experience.

Featuring Fr. Wayne Cavalier, O.P., PhD, the event will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9 AM to 3 PM (check-in begins at 8:30 AM) at St. John Neumann Catholic Church (click here for directions).  There will be discussion groups in English and in Spanish.  Donation is $15.00 per person, with the option to go out for lunch or pre-order and pre-pay a box lunch for and additional $8.  Space is limited and registration is required.  Reserve your spot today, click here to register.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for excellent reflection and learning!
