The rhythm of our ministry here at the Congar Institute has been somewhat syncopated by the pandemic, but it has not been disrupted. In fact, things only seem to be increasing in pace, intensity, and excitement as we simultaneously work to build up and strengthen our growing network of support while providing ongoing services to our long-standing partners in places like Salt Lake City, UT and Beaumont, TX and brand-new services in places like Little Rock, AR. At the same time, the twin initiatives of Synodality and the Eucharistic Revival have opened new opportunities for us in dioceses like Cheyenne, Wyoming and Altoona-Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This is added to our service to the continuing unfolding of the V National Encuentro process among the U.S. Hispanic Catholic community, which was a synodal way of being church before Synodality was embraced by the world-wide church—one in fact that goes back 50 years this very year.
We are also excited and hopeful about conversations we’ve begun with the Diocese of Reno and with ACTS Missions and with CHRISTUS Health.
Whatever keeps us busy here at the Institute, it never interferes with our gratitude to you, our supporters who make this ministry possible, and to our God, who keeps inviting us in ever-interesting ways that the church needs our services. Thank you for being an essential part of all that we do.
